I began photographing in 1971. From the start I’ve favored a close-up view of things, whether they’re landscapes or dandelions. That visual preference has grown stronger over time.
What are my favorite subjects? Almost anything except people (portraits-babies-weddings, et al). I’m not a recluse, nor a social animal — I simply know what works for me.
I contributed to stock agencies for many years, and when that industry began failing for photographers (who subsequently became content providers) I started a slow descent into retirement.
But stop finding pictures? Not a chance.
